Mega Man Composer Working On Two Tracks For Shovel Knight

Manami Matsumae, who composed music for a number of Capcom games including the original Mega Man, U.N. Squadron and Mega Man 10, will be lending her talent to Shovel Knight, the 8-bit action platformer being developed by Yacht Club Games.

As previously reported, Shovel Knight itself is inspired by older games such as Mega Man and Castlevania. Matsumae, who composed the Elec Man and Cut Man themes, as well as the music for Nitro Man’s stage in Mega Man 10, will be writing two songs for the game.

Shovel Knight is in development for PC, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
