The second set of the Mechatro WeGo and Evangelion collaboration series will be available for purchase starting March 3, 2021. The set will cost ¥4,500 (about $42) and will be available both in physical stores and at the official online shop, for those in Japan. [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]
The model kit will include a Mechatro WeGo “Power Arm” figure recolored to look like EVA Unit-2, and an Asuka Langley resin figurine designed by Nichijou creator Keiichi Arawi. The kit will reimagine Asuka as an elementary school girl in Keiichi’s signature style. The 1/20 scale figure can be seen standing atop a half-buried tire holding a small blue harmonica and matching clothes.
Mechatro WeGo kits are known for being beginner-friendly models that require little to no painting or use of adhesives. In addition to this, the Mecha figure can also open up, allowing owners to put Asuka’s figure inside. The model kit also comes with easy-to-use decals, including a NERV logo and electrical hazard labels from Evangelion.

As of the writing this article, the order confirmation page is still not available.
The theatrical release of Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon a Time, the final film for the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise, is set to release in Japanese theaters on March 8, 2021.
