Masquerada: Songs and Shadows, a pause-able, tactical game set in a Venetian world of intrigue and masks, is set to release on consoles very soon, bringing some new features for these new systems.
Masquerada: Songs and Shadows puts players in control of Cicero, a man called back from exile to investigate the kidnapping of a diplomat. Set against the backdrop of a colorful land embroiled in a civil war around control of powerful masks, players will make their way through a story of intrigue, all while fighting in tactical combat where they’ll have to guide several party members acting at once in order to survive.
The console release of Masquerada: Songs and Shadows offers some new experiences for those who have already played the game. New cutscenes and dialogue options will expand on the existing story, and new boss fights and regular battles promise to offer different challenges to those who feel they’ve seen everything the game has to offer.
Masquerada: Songs and Shadows will be available on PS4 and Xbox One on August 8.
