Leaks indicate that the anime adaptation of Mashle could release on April 7, 2023 at midnight in Japan. Officially titled Mashle: Magic and Muscles, the previous release date window for the anime was April 2023. Mashle is a fantasy comedy that explores what it would be like if a magical society encountered a person possessing no magical ability, but who is able to get by on brute strength only.
Studio A-1 Pictures will be in charge of producing the Mashle anime, with Tomonari Tanaka acting as the director. A teaser trailer for the anime was shown during Jump Festa 2023, held on December 2022.

The teaser trailer recreates the first chapter of the manga, with an added twist. The first chapter of the manga explains that magic is the foundation of the world of Mashle. Meanwhile, the teaser replaces the word “magic” with “cream puff.” This is a reference to protagonist Mash Burnedead, who loves cream puff snacks above anything else in the world.
The Mashle: Magic and Muscles anime could premiere on April 7, 2023 at midnight in Japan. At the time of writing this this story, there are no confirmed plans for an international release.
