Well, now the most recent Marvel’s Iron Man VR delay is making a little more sense. Sony has announced the game will have its very own bundle. On July 3, 2020, the same day someone who already has all the equipment can begin playing, a Marvel’s Iron Man VR bundle will be released for $349.99. It will give people everything they need to immediately jump into the game.
This is handy, as this is one of those VR games where someone needs more than just the PlayStation VR headset. Should someone pick up the Marvel’s Iron Man VR bundle, they’ll get the game and headset, the PlayStation Camera, and the two Move controllers they’ll need to actually “be” Tony Stark. There will also be a VR demo disc to introduce people to other games and experiences on the system.
As for demos, this title has one. It is available on the PlayStation Store and includes the Out of the Blue gameplay mission, the two optional Advanced Combat Challenge and Flight Challenge missions, and a Malibu tutorial. People can also see a brief movie featuring Tony Stark, Stark Industries CEO Pepper Potts, and F.R.I.D.A.Y., the UI in Stark’s Iron Man armor.
Marvel’s Iron Man VR will come to the PlayStation 4 for PlayStation VR owners on July 3, 2020. If people need the proper equipment to play, the Marvel’s Iron Man VR bundle will be available the same day. Its most recent delay came after the worldwide pandemic took hold, pushing out of May 2020.
