Marketplace Downloads Coming For Beat ‘n Groovy

beatg Beat ‘n Groovy popped up on Xbox Live Arcade without any announcement. I downloaded the Pop ‘n Music remix to confirm there were nine playable songs and none of them max out the difficulty meter. Beat ‘n Groovy felt like a teaser or maybe an introduction to something bigger. It looks like Konami is preparing more for Beat ‘n Groovy since the Japanese product info page lists downloadable content via the Xbox Live Marketplace as one the game’s features. Strangely, the US product info page does not mention this. Hmm… Given the meager selection of songs I’m expecting the downloadable content, whenever it gets released without an announcement, to be extra song packs. As a frame of reference Konami sells new songs for Dance Dance Revolution Universe for 80 Microsoft Points ($1) a piece.
