Nintendo announced that Mario Kart Tour is getting a closed beta test for Android starting May 22 to June 4. The beta test has been announced for North America and Japan, and registration is now available.

Nintendo is looking to get help from customers to improve on the quality of the currently in development Mario Kart Tour through the closed beta test. Should the number of applicants exceeds the number of possible participants, they will be selected at random.

The application period has already begun and will be available through May 7, 2019 at 7:59pm PT. Those selected for the beta-test will get to play from May 22 to June 4, 2019.

So far only Japan and the United States have been selected as the supported countries, and Android as the only supported OS for the closed beta. Another thing to keep in mind is that Nintendo “will not respond to inquiries regarding the content or implementation of the closed beta test.”

Mario Kart Tour is in development for iOS and Android. You can check out the beta-testing details over at the official website.
