Nintendo revealed its newest Mario sports title, Mario Golf Super Rushh. The company announced the game in its Nintendo Direct on February 17, 2021. The newest Mario sports title will launch on Nintendo Switch on June 25, 2021.
Similar to Mario Tennis back in 2018, Nintendo has a new sports title for the Summer. Among the new features in Mario Golf Super Rush, players can scan the terrain and utilize the shot gauge to ace their shots. Players will also be able to choose between traditional button controls or motion controls. Those looking for a little workout can swing the Joy-Con like a golf club.
In addition to the easy-to-learn controls, the new game will also have a story mode. Players will take control of their Mii character and use RPG mechanics to level up using experience points to develop stats of their choice, creating a unique golfer. New to the latest Mario Golf title is Speed Golf mode where it’s always your turn. Each player will race through the course on foot, making use of items and special shots to kick up the pace. Mario Golf Super Rush will release on June 25, 2021. Pre-orders are set to go live after the Nintendo Direct presentation.
