By Square-Enix has been on a remake spree, but most of the time they stick to the original concept art. The notable exception from this rule is Final Fantasy III DS, which has a new look for the main characters. Seiken Densetsu (aka Final Fantasy Adventure or Mystic Quest Adventure if you’re in Europe) has gone through three remakes, but each time a different set of concept art was used. Brownie Brown handled Sword of Mana and they used their in house art staff to recreate the title, which is why it looks like Magical Starsign. All the way on the right is the most recent remake, Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Adventure for mobile phones goes back to the original concept art, but ditches the super deformed look for the cast.
