Cover revealed Magical Girl holoWitches as a new multimedia project featuring Hololive Vtubers. Content from this new project will be available in anime, manga, and live-stream formats.

The project will primarily feature the following six Japanese Hololive Vtubers: Amane Kanata, Sakura Miko, Himemori Luna, Houshou Marine, Murasaki Shion, and Sakamata Chloe. holoWitches will also have two original fairies voiced by prominent Japanese voice actresses. Rie Takahashi will voice the white fairy Aelu, while Aoi Yuuki will perform as the black fairy Lagu.

In addition, Cover has also revealed new merchandise themed after holoWitches. The items range from acrylic stands to rubber mats and a material book from the first trailer. Pre-orders for these items are available worldwide via GeekJack and the Hololive Production Official Shop.

holoWitches will join the ever-growing list of original projects Cover has made to expand its Hololive franchise. Prior examples include the horror game Hololive Error and the metaverse game Holoearth. Cover has also established a Holo Indie brand to help indie developers release Hololive-themed games, such as Holo X Break and Idol Showdown.

The first chapter of the Magical Girl holoWitches comic is immediately available to read on the project’s Japanese website. An anime adaptation of the project is also under production.
