Magical Diary Wolf Hall

Another Kickstarter game is about to debut. Hanako Games has announced Magical Diary: Wolf Hall, the sequel to 2011’s Magical Diary: Horse Hall, will launch on February 17, 2020. It is a visual novel with life sim elements set at the magical Iris Academy. Players will get to be a wizard looking to find himself and perhaps romance.

Magical Diary: Wolf Hall is a standalone experience set in an alternate reality, so players won’t have to have played Magical Diary: Horse Hall. It is over 400,000 words long and has multiple routes and endings. (However, people will want to take care, as it is possible to be expelled during the course of the school year.) In addition to the visual novel and live sim elements, players will also have some turn-based dungeon exploration options as they go through the year.

As for the dating sim elements, there will be 12 people people can pursue. Five of these are main characters, seven are minor ones, and among them are both bachelors and bachelorettes. While some of these routes will involve becoming a couple, on Reddit it was confirmed by Hanako Games that some will have “both friendly and romantic options.”

Magical Diary: Wolf Hall will launch on PCs on February 17, 2020. It raised £25,644 on Kickstarter from 1,031 people.
