Macross Trial Frontier Takes Valkyries To The HD Dimension

People who pick up the Macross Frontier The Movie: The False Diva on Blu-ray are in for a treat. Namco Bandai added a PlayStation 3 game called Macross: Trial Frontier on the disc.

While it isn’t a full game, Macross: Trial Frontier will be the first Macross game for HD consoles. The PlayStation 3 title is based on Macross: Ultimate Frontier, which was released on PSP last year. Players will be able to pilot variable fighters from the movie like the YF-25 Prophecy. Screenshots below show the VF-25F, VF-25F Tornado Pack, RVF-25, VF-25G, VF-25S Armored Pack are also in the game.

Macross The Movie: The False Diva hybrid pack goes on sale on October 7.
