People who purchased D: The Game The Collector’s Edition for the 3DO found that instead of pressed discs, Limited Run Games shipped the item with burned CD-R discs unplayable on the system. After multiple people online, such as Voultar, pointed it out online, LRG announced it would send out replacement discs and honor refund requests.

Following the issue regarding the LRG D: The Game Collector’s Edition 3DO CD-R discs coming to light, LRG sent out an email and began posting on social media about the pressed discs situation. In replies to accounts like Voultar and Cheap Ass Gamer, the company noted measures affected customers can take. It noted people who bought the title will be sent replacement discs. No timeline was mentioned for that remedy. It also directed people who wanted a refund to go to its Support Center. Someone could go to Contact Support to start a ticket. As a reminder, this edition of the game cost $64.99.

Here’s one such example of LRG’s response to the D: The Game 3DO CD-R and pressed discs situation.

This 3DO pressed disc and burned CD-R situation isn’t the first time people experienced issues with a Limited Run Games game. DOOM: The Classics Collection involved an issue that would keep people from playing a purchased physical copy if they were unable to connect to the internet and log into their Nintendo Network or PlayStation Network account. In order to get a replacement, people needed to contact support, then send their Switch or PS4 copy back to LRG before they would get a replacement.

D: The Game is available on the 3DO and PC
