By It seems like the Metal Gear Solid 4 news doesnt end! First, it was the news of the Metal Gear Online beta opening in April for North America (gotta preorder the game to be guaranteed access, apparently), then there was the announcement of a Metal Gear Solid 4 Playstation 3 bundle ($499.99 complete with an 80gb PS3, Dual Shock 3, and a copy of the game). Now, of course, the official boxart for Japan has been revealed!
The boxart was revealed in Dengeki Playstation Magazine (scan can be found here) and also makes mention of both a Special Edition and Premium Pack! The Special Edition will come with a bonus blu-ray disc that houses all the trailers of Metal Gear Solid 4 and a "making of" video while the Premium Pack is pretty much the bundle North America is getting (not sure on what PS3 model Japan is getting) along with some other extras. I don't know about you, but I'm seriously hoping North America gets some sort of special edition!
After all, Solid Snake's final opus should end with a big bang right? What better way to make it special than to have a special edition!
