Capcom Co., Ltd. has announced the release of special merchandise to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Monster Hunter series. The new plushies, featuring both a felyne and melynx, will be available at Capcom-operated arcades starting July 27, 2024.
The Monster Hunter 20th anniversary plushies are designed to be lifelike and surreal, standing approximately 60 cm (about 23.6 inches) tall. These plush toys, which stand on two legs like the hunters they accompany, are available in two versions and offer a unique addition to any collection. The first version is the standard Palico coloring of cream and a light brown, whereas the other is a grey tabby.
In addition to the plushies, Capcom is reintroducing the Monster Hunter healing potions, a collectible beverage container designed to resemble the recovery potion bottles used by hunters in the game. The bottle has a capacity of 500 ml (approximately 16.9 ounces) and is both heat and cold-resistant, making it practical for everyday use. The bottle will be available at Capcom amusement stores starting in late July 2024, and a re-run of a previous release.
In related news, Capcom has announced new merchandise for its mobile puzzle game, Monster Hunter Puzzle: Felyne Isles. The merchandise includes various Felyne-themed items and is now available at Capcom’s directly-managed stores and online.
