Live a Live Heading to the Switch

Finally, after trademark filings and stream teases, a Live a Live Switch game appeared during the February 2022 Nintendo Direct. The RPG will appear worldwide for the first time with this new release. This will be an 2D-HD remake, which means the art will look similar to Octopath Traveler. The original only appeared in Japan. It will appear on July 22, 2022. Pre-orders are open now.

In Live a Live, multiple characters and stories intertwine. People follow seven different people as they go through their stories. Each one is set in a different time and place. However, as such things go, eventually commonalities appear and players see what ties them together.

We’ve known a Live a Live project is in the works for quite some time. Trademarks were filed for the name worldwide in places like North America and Europe in 2020. An October 2020 official stream in Japan also teased that something was in development.

Live a Live will come to the Nintendo Switch on July 22, 2022.
