Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia announced they’re shutting down online services for the LittleBigPlanet series in Japan from July 31, 2016.

While all the offline features will remain the same game modes that require online services will no longer be available. This includes browsing and playing stages created by players, uploading your own created stages, online play, and the community function.

The stage kits and costumes DLCs that you’ve acquired will still be available in the game in its offline mode.

This applies for LittleBigPlanet 3 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, LittleBigPlanet 2 on PS3, LittleBigPlanet on PS3, LittleBigPlanet Karting on PS3, LittleBigPlanet Portable for PSP, and LittleBigPLanet for PlayStation Vita.

Again, this announcement comes from Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia, and we’ve yet to get any word for the West.
