Bandai Namco announced a third game in the Little Nightmares series at gamescom Opening Night Live 2023. It will be developed by Until Dawn developers Supermassive Games, replacing the original developers Tarsier Studios. This time, there will be a focus on multiplayer. Bandai Namco also confirmed that this time, people will find the game on the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Little Nightmares 3 will star two new characters, Lou and Alune, who must work together to escape a place known as the Spiral. It’s described as “a cluster of disturbing places”. This also marks the first time the series will feature online co-op, as both characters will be playable. The gameplay looks very similar to the previous Little Nightmares games.

In addition, a Little Nightmares themed podcast will be released to promote the third game. It’s called The Sounds of Nightmares, and will contain six episodes telling an original story set in the world. The first two episodes are available now on Bandai Namco’s website.

Little Nightmares 3 will be released in 2024. People will be able to find it on the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
