This morning, Nintendo announced NES Remix for the Wii U eShop. The compilation consists of various portions of 16 NES games, with these parts “remixed” with new challenges.

 

Examples of this include being able to play as Link in a level of Donkey Kong, or completing a familiar Super Mario Bros. stage while running to the left. The title includes Miiverse compatibility, so players can share screenshots as well.

 

NES Remix is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Wii U for $14.99.
