Koei Tecmo and LINE revealed that they will add new crossover content from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion to LINE: Monster Rancher in late November 2023. Key characters from the anime series will appear as breeders of unique monsters inspired by their Knightmare Frames.

Lelouch and Kallen are the two characters confirmed so far to have Breeder Assist Cards. Lelouch’s Gawain will appear as a Joker sub-breed, while Kallen will have the Guren—in both regular Type-02 form and Flight-Enabled Version—as a Dragon sub-breed. The story synopsis hints that Suzaku will also appear with a monster version of the Lancelot.

A teaser trailer for the Code Geass crossover in LINE: Monster Rancher is available to watch on LINE’s YouTube channel:

LINE: Monster Rancher is a monster-breeding mobile game that utilizes data from registered friends in the LINE app to generate monsters. While Koei Tecmo and LINE initially planned to launch the game in Spring 2023, they eventually released it earlier in late Winter on February 28, 2023.

Code Geass will be the first anime IP to have crossover content for LINE: Monster Rancher, but it won’t be the first-ever crossover for the latter. In late March 2023, LINE and Koei Tecmo added a collaboration monster modeled after Otosan, the mascot dog of the Japanese company SoftBank.

LINE: Monster Rancher is available immediately on iOS and Android mobile devices in Japan. The Code Geass crossover content will be available in the mobile game from November 30, 2023, to December 28, 2023.
