The opening features the monsters battling it out on a farm for a piece of meat, showing various different monsters that players can recruit. The trailer also provides a firsthand look at how these monsters will appear with the updated visuals. Monsters like Pixie have more stylized looks, deviating a bit from their original appearance. However, Mochi and Suezo look relatively the same.

The title will have monsters from Monster Rancher and Monster Rancher 2 available. However, the way players can acquire monsters in the mobile game will be significantly different from previous iterations. Players can generate monsters through their LINE app friend lists. That said, players will still be able to create monsters without having friends on LINE through the use of NPCs that will appear on your in-game friend list.

LINE: Monster Rancher is in development for Android and iOS devices. It will release in Japan sometime in 2022.
