Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced an upcoming collaboration between Like a Dragon and Pop Team Epic. More information will appear in the near future. The teaser picture for this collaboration features Popuko and Pipimi dressed up like Kiryu and Majima, respectively.
In Pop Team Epic season 2, episode 11, Takaya Kuroda and Hidenari Ugaki starred in the second half of the episode. Kuroda is the voice actor for Kiryu, while Ugaki is the voice actor for Majima. Their appearances may be part of the collaborative effort between Sega and Space Neko Company. In replies to RGG Studio’s Tweet, several fans guessed that this might be the case.
Because there is so little information on the Like a Dragon and Pop Team Epic collaboration, it is impossible to tell what fans can expect. They are standing in the middle of a modern Kamurocho, so if it is DLC, then it could be for Yakuza Online or Like A Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name. This is because the other game coming out soon – Like a Dragon: Ishin! – is set in the Bakumatsu era of Japan.
