Viz Media has licensed The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past manga written and illustrated by Shotaro Ishinomori, the publisher announced today. The manga will be published under its Perfect Square imprint. (Thanks, Anime News Network)

 

Ishinomori originally drew the manga in issues of Nintendo Power magazine, and it was later compiled into a single volume in 1993. It follows the SNES game, and adds plot details and characters of its own.

 

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past manga will be available this May.
