A crossover with Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth and Star Ocean: The Second Story R will begin in Last Cloudia. Currently, the characters that will appear from each title have yet to be revealed. More information on the collaboration event will be distributed at a later date. The official Twitter account uploaded a video announcement confirming the start date of the collaboration, which is August 24, 2023.

Last Cloudia is a free-to-play mobile RPG. Crossovers with many franchises appeared in it in the past, including Bayonetta, NieR:Automata, Persona 5, and the Tales of series. Now, two more Square Enix RPGs join the party of games that have been featured in the app. If this event is similar to past franchise collaborations, playable characters from both series that can be obtained via the gacha can be expected.
