Langrisser Series Is Teasing A Restart In 2018 With A New Strategy RPG, Possibly For Consoles

Chara-Ani launched a new countdown site for Langrisser that is set to be revealed in 15 days from now, or August 23, with a countdown trailer showing a “restart in 2018.”

The above is a look at a new countdown movie by Chara-Ani that looks back at the past entries of the Langrisser series. Famitsu also has the game listed under consoles, so there’s a good chance it won’t be the recent Langrisser mobile game, which may be headed Westward.

Langrisser first released in 1991 for Mega Drive. Its latest game is Langrisser Re:Incarnation which released for the Nintendo 3DS in July 2015 in Japan and April 2016 in the West.
