Nihon Falcom released more details about The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II – Crimson Sin. Famitsu has published a preview page for news coverage of the upcoming sequel in its latest magazine issue, which will officially go on sale in Japan on April 7, 2022. It notes that the story in Kuro no Kiseki II will begin right after the prequel’s ending. Relationships among the series’ characters will also change in the upcoming sequel. The new game will also bring in more gameplay features, such as fishing. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
Ryokutya has provided more details on the magazine coverage. In addition to Van and Elaine, it will also feature Agnès Claudel. Her new attire, which lacks leggings, will allow her to move more actively.
The magazine will also show more gameplay features added to Kuro no Kiseki II. Characters in the title will be able to fish again with more features, such as changing the fishing pole’s direction. The sequel will also allow them to use Arts in the action-oriented Field Battles. The orthodox Command-based battle system will also receive new features, although Falcom has yet to divulge the details.
Meanwhile, Dengeki will hold a live stream dedicated to Kuro no Kiseki II on April 7, 2022, at 21:00 JST (8 AM ET). This stream will include brand-new footage of the upcoming title.
The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II – Crimson Sin will release for PlayStation 4 and 5 in Japan in Fall 2022.
