The Kunio-kun series usually revolves around Kunio, his eternal rival Riki, and several other characters brawling it out, but they occasionally partake in other events such as sports. According to this week’s Famitsu, one of the older games from the series is getting a PlayStation 3 remake.
The title for the game was announced as Downtown Nekketsu Koshinkyoku Soreyuke Daiundokai, or Downtown Hot-Blooded March: Let’s Go to the Great Sports Meet, which is the same one for the original 1990 Famicom title.
The PlayStation 3 remake will have a single player story mode, along with a few other new features.
