Konami Social Games Reach 20 Million Registered Subscribers

Konami’s social games continue to grow, the company announced this week, revealing that the number of total registered users for its games has grown to over 20 million as of the end of March 2012. Even if some of those users are inactive, that’s a large number.

 

Dragon Collection, a card game which was popular enough to be spun off into its own manga series, has over 6 million registered users. Meanwhile, Sengoku Collection—which also has its own manga—has over 3 million users.

 

Konami add that their older social titles are continuing to grow as well, and point out that they recently launched Star Wars Collection in February as one of their major new social titles. These are all free-to-play games with micro-transaction models for monetization.
