However, the website states that both Konami and Bloober Team will jointly develop “selected contents” and exchange information. Additionally, Hideki Hayakawa, Representative Director and President of Konami Digital Entertainment, had this to say in the statement:

In the digital entertainment industry, significant changes in the business environment are expected in the future. We look forward to combining Bloober Team’s and our respective characteristics and strengths to create high-quality contents.

Further information regarding any future projects between the developers has yet to be revealed.

The most recent project released by Bloober Team is The Medium, a psychological thriller that saw Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka provide some of the score. Some have compared the game to Silent Hill, and it features similar aspects which involve teleporting the player character to “another world” through game mechanics.

The Medium is immediately available for Xbox Series X and PC. It will release on PlayStation 5 on September 3, 2021.
