Following the reveal of Isla’s character trailer earlier today, the Microsoft’s TGS 2021 showcase provided a new KOF XV character trailer for K’. The dark hero will return with his pyrokinetic abilities, as well as his signature shades and leather get-up. Additionally, SNK uploaded the character trailer via YouTube and updated the official website to include the returning character.
K’ was previously teased during the King of Fighters XV release date announcement trailer announced in late August 2021. In that same trailer, other returning characters like Ash Crimson were showcased, alongside Shun’ei and other newer characters. Interestingly, Isla got her own character trailer during the SNK Tokyo Game Show live stream earlier today, unlike K’.

Originally added to the King of Fighters series back in KOF ’99, K’ debuted as the leader of the hero team. He is a serious, arrogant fighter, and other fighters in the series frequently chastise him for his laziness. K’ has the ability to manipulate fire using his right hand, and many of his attacks feature fire-based animations.
KOF XV will release on February 17, 2022, for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
