Over the weekend, annual fighting games tourney CEO 2017 took place, during which the event founder Alex Jebailey announced that Killer Instinct would be heading to Steam later this year.

The game released last year for both Xbox One and Microsoft 10, and since then it has completed three seasons and still continues to release new characters to its roster. During the announcement at CEO 2017, it was also revealed that those who own the Definitive Edition for either the Xbox One or PC versions will be entitled to a free download of the new character Eagle, as well as the characters Shin Hisako and Kilgore for the Steam version.

Killer Instinct is available for Xbox One and PC, and will release for Steam later this year.
