Kill The Superweapon’s Bosses Don’t Wait To Be Found, Hunting The Player Instead

Recommended Videos

The bosses of twin-stick shooter Kill the Superweapon don’t just sit around waiting for the player to find them, but will instead hunt them down, chasing them down and fighting with them the moment they find them.

Samantha Kill is looking to take down weapons manufacturer Abaddon Inc, using a weapon she stole from them: the Total Ablation Beam. This tool will let her take out the living Superweapons the company has been creating, but she’ll need to keep it fueled with batteries she finds throughout the company’s factories to keep it firing.

Kill the Superweapons puts players in low-poly, diorama-like levels as they blast enemies that get in their way. As they explore these spaces, the Superweapons will also be exploring them as well. When a Superweapon finds the player, they’ll attack them, dogging them should they try to get away. Whether the player is already in a fight or not, these bosses will come rushing at them, adding an element of constant new danger to each firefight. Players will never know when the boss may arrive, and may have to scrap their current tactics and flee at any time.
