It’s getting to be summertime in many places, including on the Nintendo Switch and PC. Summer in Mara has a release date. People will be able to take part in the farming game with exploration elements on June 16, 2020 on both platforms. However, before that, a free prologue will be available to test.
Summer in Mara follows a girl named Koa. She gets to live on an island where she’s responsible for building it up and caring for herself. That means you’ll be able to choose what you plant, craft equipment, and build up useful buildings and utilities. But, you aren’t limited to just her home. There’s a whole archipelago, and you’ll be able to go to other islands to visit people, learn new things, and discover new items. There are some light relationship elements, as Koa can make friends with over 20 different people. There are also 250 missions she can take in addition to her farming.
As a means of introducing people to Summer in Mara ahead of launch, there’s a demo. Chibig, the developer, has created a free prologue for both platforms. However, that is only available through Steam for PCs at the moment. While a Nintendo Switch one is on the way, there’s no Summer in Mara Prologue release date yet.
Here’s one of the latest trailers showing off the game.
