Kemco’s back with its trademark 2D, sprite-based big-party battles and sweeping stories in Link of Hearts, their new mobile game.
The game stars the twin tales of partners Daichi and Lily as well as Mars the swordsman. The Earth is under threat, and Lily’s discovery of an ancient robot from an equally long-gone civilization sets off a chain of events and an adventure to boot.
Each character’s skills in battle are determined by Link of Heart’s Elemental Solids (ES) system. Characters have different skill slots, which you’ll fill with the ES stones to create different abilities and attacks to draw from. These can be further combined with support stones which could, for instance, increase the skill’s power.
You’ll also be able to turn defeated foes into in-app purchase points for additional dungeons and items.
Link of Hearts is out now on iOS and Android.
Oh, and if you enjoy the (pretty awesome) theme song, you can get it for free here.
