Keiji Inafune “Absolutely Necessary” For Future YAIBA: Ninja Gaiden Z Games

Recommended Videos

The developers of YAIBA: Ninja Gaiden Z—spread across Tecmo Koei, Spark Unlimited and Comcept—recently answered a few questions from fans on the game’s official website.

One of the questions from a fan asked who exactly owns the rights to YAIBA—Team Ninja or Keiji Inafune, who came up with the concept of the game?

Team Ninja head Yosuke Hayashi didn’t provide a straightforward reply to the question, but stated, “Yaiba is a new member in the Team Ninja universe, but his creator is undoubtedly Keiji Inafune. When thinking about the future of Yaiba, Inafune-san is absolutely necessary.”

You can make of that what you will.

YAIBA: Ninja Gaiden Z will be released for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
