A new Junji Ito x Sanrio Characters Pop Up Store collaboration of merchandise will appear in Tokyo and Osaka, and the newly unveiled key visual art pairs Tomie with Hello Kitty. Tomie will appear in gyaru fashion, while the Beautiful Boy at the Crossroads from Junji Ito’s Lovesickness collection will appear on a swing floating thanks to the aid of various Sanrio character balloons.
Aside from Hello Kitty, other pieces of merchandise will pair Tomie and the Beautiful Boy with various Sanrio characters. The pop up store will be available at the Shibuya Parco store between August 23, 2024 and September 9, 2024, and the Shinsaibashi Parco store in Osaka between September 27, 2024 and October 14, 2024.
