Like many other subscription services on gaming platforms, Google adds a few “free” games to Stadia every month. For the most part, that has meant a small handful of games each month, but the June 2020 Stadia Pro games list comprises a total of five games, including some recent and popular fare. It also includes a wide spread of genres, from arcade-style classics, to fighting, horror, and chaotic family-friendly multiplayer. Highlights for our audience are likely Panzer Dragoon: Remake and Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid.
Another cool thing about this bundle of games is that all five of them are debuting on Stadia. These aren’t day and date launches for any of them, but it’s still notable that Google is offering Stadia Pro members that many games on the day they’re debuting on the store. The list includes the two games mentioned earlier, Little Nightmares, Get Packed, and SUPERHOT.
Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid also marks the first time (according to EventHubs) a fighting game will have full cross-play across five different platforms. Considering developer nWay just announced the upcoming third season and its additional characters, its June 2020 Stadia Pro inclusion could be a solid boost for the playerbase.
Stadia as a service is free by default for up to 1080p streaming, although you do have to purchase each game. Stadia Pro is $9.99 a month, enables 4K and HDR streaming, and offers a selection of games every month to keep as long as the membership is active.
