The latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump announced the upcoming mobile RPG. According to a screenshot posted by Twitter user @MSR_AniPlug, the game will include many iconic characters from the series such as Satoru Gojo, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, among others. It will reportedly have players join Itadori in exorcising spirits. Further information will be revealed at a later date.
Additionally, the announcement also includes a link to a website under the name of the game. However, attempting to go to the website gives a 403 error and is currently inaccessible. It also urges fans to search the term “ファンパレ,” which results in no relevant pages.
Sumzap will develop the new title. The studio is also developing KonoSuba: Fantastic Days and the recently-announced D_Cide Traumerei. Furthermore, Nexon is planning to release Fantastic Days globally sometime in 2021.
Recently, Weekly Shonen Jump announced that the manga series would go on a brief hiatus due to the author of the series Gege Akutami’s health condition. In a handwritten note to fans, Akutami stated that the hiatus will last for “about a month,” and apologized to fans and those involved.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade will release as a free-to-play game for iOS and Android devices. There is currently no confirmed release date.
