Jokey 2D platform-RPG Unepic is coming to Xbox One on January 8th 2016.

It follows pothead and gamer Daniel as he runs into a medieval castle during a role-playing game but mistakes it for an illusion caused by the drugs his friends probably slipped into his drink.

Inside the castle, Daniel finds out from an oracle that he has a mission: to kill Harnakon, the master of the castle, and free Pure-Spirits. Daniel also ends up getting possessed by a Shadow that talks to him inside his head. However, the Shadow wants to escape from this new host, and the only way to do that is for Daniel to die, hence the Shadow will often lie to trick Daniel into killing himself.

Beyond all this, Unepic plays like a fairly typical 2D RPG, but not everything is quite what it seems. There are over 200 rooms to explore, 70 spells to learn, and 100 different weapons. You can craft potions, reach three different endings, and also acquire pets.
