Jim Carrey Negotiating The Role Of Dr. Eggman In Sonic The Hedgehog Movie

Yesterday, it was reported that according to sources close to the movie production, actor Jim Carrey is currently negotiating the role for Dr. Eggman in the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog live action and CG movie. [Thanks, Deadline!]

If Jim Carrey gets the role, he will be joining James Marsden as two of the human actors that will appear alongside Sonic in the upcoming movie. The movie is being written by Pat Casey and Josh Miller, is a ‘buddy cop’-style flick where Sonic must team up with a small-town police officer to stop Dr. Eggman’s plans of world domination.

The Sonic the Hedgehog movie hits theatres in November 15, 2019.
