Like Yunli, the other 5-star character who’ll debut in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.4, Jiaoqiu is from a Xianzhou. While Yunli is from Zhuming, Jiaoqiu is from the Yaoqing. He is a healer who likes to cook, using food to treat the sick. He’s from a prestigious Alchemy Commission family and though he quit his job as a doctor once due to a “broken heart,” he returned to his duties in order to help General Feixiao. Jiaoqiu will mark the first playable male foxian character, as the other playable foxians are Tingyun, Yukong, and Huohuo.

Mark Whitten voices Jiaoqiu in English. His previous roles include Kyojuro in Demon Slayer, Kazuha in Genshin Impact, and Percival in Granblue Fantasy: Relink. Cheng Zhangtaikang is his Chinese voice actor. Some of Cheng’s previous roles include Obanai in Demon Slayer and Dumpling in The Tale of Food. Finally, Toshiyuki Toyonaga will voice Jiaoqiu in Japanese. Toyonaga’s more prominent roles include Yuri in Yuri on Ice, Oberon in Fate/Grand Order, and Claude in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices.
