Japan’s Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Treasure Box Includes a Paraglider Blanket

While we only know about standard Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity physical and digital editions in most regions, a collector’s edition has been confirmed for Japan. The official site has announced a Treasure Box for 16,720円 (~$157). One of its featured items is a Paraglider-inspired blanket.

There aren’t any images for the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Treasure Box items yet. However, we do know what will be packed in the box. People get a copy of the Musou game, the Paraglider-inspired blanket, a metal charm of some sort, and an acrylic plate with artwork from the game on it. (As a note, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s Paraglider is referred to as the Parasail.)

This latest Hyrule Warriors game will also act as a Breath of the Wild prequel. It takes place 100 years before the mainline game and features Link, Zelda, and playable Champions like Mipha and Revali. Speaking of the Champions, Nintendo confirmed it will rerelease those Breath of the Wild amiibo in November 2020.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will come to the Nintendo Switch worldwide on November 20, 2020. Both the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity standard and Treasure Box editions’ pre-orders will open on September 11, 2020 in Japan.
