Japanese Dark Souls II Fan Makes Astora Elite Knight Set By Hand

Recommended Videos

A Japanese Dark Souls II fan has spent the past eight months creating the Astora Elite Knight set by hand. You can watch the entire process in this video (thanks Rocket News).

The fan goes by @nanonanananono on Twitter and you’ll see in the video that he uses nothing more than tools he found the house along with a bunch of simple metal objects. The helmet, for example, is constructed out of a metal bowl, and the chainmail is cut out of thick coiled wire.

The final armor set weighs 20 pounds, or 44 kilograms, and is said to be horrible to wear. But hey, it looks great for cosplaying purposes… probably best he doesn’t enter any battles with it, though.
