Square Enix just shared the latest trailer for Final Fantasy XV during their Jump Festa 2015 stage in Japan. Director Hajime Tabata also shared a little statement regarding the demo that will come with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. (Thanks, Game Jouhou)

Due to reports of the Final Fantasy XV demo being part of a first-print run of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Tabata issued an apology, and said that for those that won’t be able to get their hands on a first-print copy of the upcoming HD remake, Square Enix will release the “Final Fantasy XV Tryout Tech Demo” (that’s a tentative title).

The demo will be available for free, and will offer the same content as the tech demo from Tokyo Game Show, with some additional content added. The free demo will be available sometime after the Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae demo, and more details are expected to be announced soon. It is confirmed that you won’t need to own Final Fantasy Type-0 HD to play this demo.

Final Fantasy XV is in development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Update: Further details have come to light and this report has been updated to reflect them.
