Jam With The Band Cranks Up European Release

image Do you know who Barbara the Bat is? If you don’t, you will soon. Nintendo of Europe is bringing Daigasso! Band Brothers out of Japan. The rhythm pressing, music making game is set for May 21 under the name Jam With the Band.

In this music game, you’re part of a band and play a song by pressing buttons. One neat feature about Jam with the Band is you can pick your music instrument. So, you could play a Zelda melody with a saxophone or a Morning Musume song with a tambourine. You’ll have to make the Morning Musume song on your own though, because Jam With the Band has a localized list of music. “ABC” from the Jackson Five and “I’m a Slave 4 U” by Britney Spears are confirmed for the PAL version.

It’s unclear if the online song sharing feature introduced in Daigasso! Band Brothers DX will be in the European version. The press release does mention users will still be able to make and share their own music, but doesn’t say anything about Nintendo Wi-Fi.
