The highly-popular Custom BGM feature that has been present in many of Bandai Namco’s mecha titles like Super Robot Wars and the Mobile Suit Gundam VS. series is making a return. The game will read MP3 files that are imported into the PS4 system via external USBs. For those willing to put in the effort to create their own music lists, you’lll need to copy the songs into a new folder named ‘MBONMUSIC’ in the main folder of the USB drive. Bear in mind that the music must be in MP3 format. Furthermore, some of the names may be messed up depending on the settings of the MP3 file. You can then import the music via the Customize page from the main menu.

Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Maxiboost On will come to the PlayStation 4 worldwide on July 30, 2020. Currently, there is a Closed Network Test happening for the game, which lets the selected players try out all the new features and mobile suits, and stress test the server. The Closed Network Test is set to end April 26 at 7pm PT (April 27 at 11am Japan time).
