Jaleco Beat-Em-Up Rival Turf To Pound Virtual Console

Recommended Videos

News on a game from Jaleco? Sort of. The ESRB recently put up a rating for Rival Turf, a Jaleco-developed beat-em-up for the SNES. This means it’s headed to the Virtual Console in the U.S. (Europe already has it)

The story takes place in Los Angeles and has you playing as two members of the police force. The game has three primary modes: the singleplayer mode, a cooperative multiplayer mode and a Versus mode as well.

Rival Turf is actually the first part of a trilogy called the Rushing Beat series. The original Japanese version of the game was titled Rushing Beat, but the name of the game as well as its characters were changed for overseas release.
