Infested Is An Homage To Shadowgate And The Uninvited

Infested, a game done in the style of ICOM Simulation Inc.’s NES point & click games Shadowgate, The Uninvited, and Déjà Vu, tasks players with finding the right equipment and items and using them to escape a deadly space ship.

Players have access to a number of commands at the bottom of the screen as they explore the ship’s rooms, allowing to do a number of things with their environment and items. They’ll need to be careful, though, as like the game’s NES inspirations, many objects will kill the player if used carelessly. After death, the player quickly respawns in the previous room, though.
