In Europe, Fortune Street Will Be Called “Boom Street”

Fortune Street (better known as Itadaki Street to some) is headed to Europe as well. Nintendo of Europe are calling the Wii board game Boom Street, and will release it on January 6th, 2012. The U.S. version will be released on December 5th this year.

In addition to local multiplayer, Fortune Street also has online play. Nintendo of Europe say you you’ll be able to play with people “from across the world,” which sounds like online isn’t restricted by region as previously believed.

In addition to Mario and Dragon Quest characters, you can play as your Mii in Fortune Street as well. Miis can be dressed up in different kinds of outfits, some of which you can see here.
