The trailer shows what you can do in the Velvet Room. Aside from fusing Personas with Igor, you can also complete requests for Elizabeth. These requests serve as the Social Link for Elizabeth. Igor is a staple of the Persona series. He focuses on aiding the protagonist on his journey, serving as a reliable ally despite his somewhat fearsome appearance.

You can watch the trailer for Igor in Persona 3 Reload here:

From the original Persona 3 until Persona 5, Isamu Tanonaka was the voice actor for Igor. Sadly, Tanonaka died in 2010 from a heart attack. He was 77 years old at the time of death. Anything related to Persona 3 through Persona 5 that came out after 2010 used archived voice files of Tanonaka.

Bin Shimada succeeded Tanonaka as Igor in Persona 3 Reload. He will likely continue to voice the character in future games. Shimada is a veteran voice actor whose prominent roles include Tobimaro in Urusei Yatsura (1981), Paptimus in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, and Broly in the Dragon Ball Z film series. He was also the original voice actor for Ryu in Street Fighter II. Meanwhile, Miyuki Sawashiro has reprised her role as Elizabeth. Sawashiro’s past roles include Raiden Shogun in Genshin Impact, Kurapika in Hunter x Hunter 2011, and Mordred in Fate/Apocrypha

Persona 3 Reload will come out for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam on February 2, 2024.
